… what ever your battle is for the day!
Mine is simple. I have a combo head & chest cold. My loving husband shared it with me. I’m sure it was unintentional. Nevertheless, I am fighting through it. In fact, I met our youngest daughter at the gym at 5:30 a.m. and we did our boot camp workout. Nope, my throbbing head, coughing, nor leaky sinuses stopped me! YAY!
Found this quote and thought it worth sharing … Better to lose count while naming your blessings than to lose your blessings to counting your troubles. ~Maltbie D. Babcock
Could be whining about the cold. Could have used it as an excuse to skip the workout. Rather, I am thankful that I am healthy enough to fight through a workout, in spite of not feeling 100%. Life is full of blessings … I got to work out, with my daughter, see the sunrise, enjoy a time of peace with Laura Story’s songs, as I cleared my head and heart while sitting in the dry sauna after my workout. Arrived at work a half hour early. That means I am blessed to have a job, work with people who are not just colleagues, but friends who are more like family. And I get to use the gifts God gave me throughout the day … a blessed day, indeed!
What is your battle today? And, more importantly, what are your blessings?
Enjoy a day full of blessings!
